Where we began
We started Nace.AI in the summer of 2024 around a problem we kept meeting: enterprises could not get general-purpose language models to work the way their business works. The models were capable. They were also hard to audit, confidently wrong, and blind to the policies that govern real work.
Our answer is a small model for each job, trained on the work it does. Drex decides: it returns a probability for every option instead of writing an answer. Nace Document Intelligence reads files and returns every value with the page it came from. Both are powered by the Metamodel, our research on adapting a model to an organization's own policies at inference time.
